We couldn’t let The Boss’ 77th birthday pass by without a proper N.B. Goods celebration. You’ve seen some of our favorite Bruce inspired items over the years - original designs, vintage finds, artwork and more, but I also have an extensive personal stash of ephemera for all things Springsteen. Vintage shirts from European tours are always some of my favorites. They typically feature familiar art on the front, but take a lot more artistic liberty on the back, making them very unique from stateside versions, even if the tour name remains the same.
'80S BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN BORN IN THE USA SOLD OUT TOUR RAGLAN TEE
Baseball style or “Raglan” tees are a hallmark of ‘70s and ‘80s tour shirts. They look good on everyone and add an unmistakable touch of vintage style.
NOT FOR SALE (but too cool not to share) HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRUCE TEE
For me, the absolute gems of the Bruce tee world are often bootlegs or event specific tees. In the ‘70s and ‘80s promoters at each individual show would often make their own individual merch commemorating the occasion. I have a few really wonderful “One Night Only” pieces. This tee was made specifically for a few Colorado shows that Bruce was playing on his actual birthday in the mid ‘80s.
